The general objectives of the various Workplace / Occupational Health & Safety Laws across Australian States and Territories is to protect the health and safety of those in a workplace, manage risk and prevent risk to health.
Each jurisdiction has also a wide range duty placed on various parties to, as far as is reasonably practicable, provide and maintain a working environment that is safe and without risks to health.
This also includes providing such information, instruction, training, or supervision necessary to enable the performance of work that is safe & without risk to health.
It is recommended all involved in these activities are fully aware of their duties and responsibilities in each jurisdiction and avail themselves of the information readily available through their employers, associations, regulators, and suppliers.
