Nationally accredited competency training
The KOR Academy offers courses to equip operators with the knowledge, skills, and competency they need to do their job safely.
This minimises the risk of injury to themselves, people nearby, or potentially damaging equipment and company assets.
Each course is customised ensuring that content is relevant to industry, and the various applications and environments operators work in, and aligned to the course criteria. These include shutdown environments, concrete demolition, drain cleaning, non-destructive digging and combination work, high-pressure water jetting and vacuum loading operations.
All content delivered by KOR Academy has been designed and developed by ‘Trainright’, our training partner. Trainright is a registered training organisation (RTO Code 45777).
Overview of available courses
MSMSS00017
Use high pressure water jetting equipment
This course will train operators in the basic skills and knowledge to enable them to operate high pressure water jetting equipment while under the supervision of a competent operator.
MSMSS00018
Operate a high pressure water jetting system
Provides an understanding of the current Australian High Pressure Water Jetting (HPWJ) Standards 4233 part 1 and Safe Work Australia December 2013 Guide for Managing Risks from HPWJ.
MSMSS00019
Operate a drain cleaning system
Provides skills and knowledge to work with drain cleaners for the purpose of unblocking, cleaning, removing debris from closed or open drains with the use of various nozzles.
MSMSS00020
Operate a vacuum loading system
Provides participants with the skills and knowledge to independently operate, coordinate, communicate, manage and complete vacuum loading system tasks in a safe and efficient manner.
MSMSS00021
Operate a hydro excavation system
The hydro excavation system operator course provides participants with the skills and knowledge required to autonomously assemble and operate a hydro excavation system.
Refresher Courses
Refresher training on high pressure water jetting operations
In accordance with AS4233.1: 2013 HPWJ Part 1: Safe operation and maintenance, operators are required to participate in refresher training at a minimum of every two years

Training made easy
Training comes to you
We offer online training for the knowledge section of each course and then travel to the business premises to conduct practical assessments, making it more convenient for operators and more cost-effective. Our class sizes are kept to a maximum of 10 participants per course.
Easy booking process
Booking a training course is a simple and straightforward process which we manage from start to finish. From receiving an initial enquiry, to delivering training and sending out Statements of Attainment. This activity is administered by our training partner, Trainright.
Reminders for refreshers
We simplify refresher training by managing the process. When operators are due for a refresher, we’ll proactively notify the customer, ensuring continuity without the hassle of tracking dates.
